The Leadership Team
Philip J. Shapiro
Chairman Founder and Chairman of Liberty Global Logistics LLC (LGL), Mr. Shapiro is a veteran US flag shipping executive. The US government, private commercial customers and various trade organizations have regarded Philip as an industry leader based on decades of past performance.
President Mr. Minetti is President and a member of LGL’s Executive Team with over 33 years of industry experience. Mr. Minetti has held key executive roles at some of the world's largest shipping and logistics companies offering multi-modal and supply chain solutions to customers globally.
Paul ‘Chip’ Jaenichen
Executive Vice President US Flag Mr. Jaenichen’s military and government service career spans over 35 years, during which he served as a nuclear-trained Submarine Officer in the U.S. Navy; as a Maritime Administrator for the Department of Transportation under President Obama; and, presently, as LGL’s Executive Vice President for U.S. Flag.
Executive Vice President Commercial Operations As Executive Vice President of Commercial Operations, Mr. Leon has over 30 years of experience in international shipping and maritime logistics. During his career, he has held several executive positions in the industry’s leading companies, contributing to their growth and overseeing some of the largest logistics contracts.
Executive Vice President Vice President and member of the LGL Executive Management Committee, Mr. Shapiro oversees chartering, business development and trade management, as well as technological systems integration. His international career includes experience with public policy, maritime, transportation and logistics, as well as agribusiness.
Vice President of Legal Brooke Shapiro is the Vice President of Legal and a member of LGL’s Executive Team with over 13 years of maritime law experience. Ms. Shapiro has a strong background in maritime law, corporate law, litigation, and regulatory compliance and has successfully navigated complex legal landscapes, providing strategic guidance and ensuring regulatory adherence for the Liberty team.
Vice President Finance Mr. Sheen is LGL’s Vice President of Finance and is responsible for budgeting, planning and analysis, internal control development and new project analysis, among other initiatives. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Jaynie Martaron-De Petris
Vice President Sales & Marketing Mrs. Martaron-De Petris is LGL’s Vice President Sales and Marketing with over 20 years of transportation and logistics experience. During her career, she has held various senior management positions with global shipping and logistics companies, and developed new market growth strategies to expand commercial customer relationships.
Vice President Operations Services As Vice President of Operations Services, Mr. Antonelli is responsible for coordination of all business development and strategic activities. He has extensive expertise in every facet of building and managing profitable transportation networks, from port operations through inland processing facilities and delivery systems.
Vice President Container Cargo & Government Relations Mr. Henry is LGL’s Vice President Container Cargo & Government Relations with over 40 years of maritime industry experience, including 25 years of commercial management / Government relations with major US Flag container carriers, where he held several key executive positions.
